What is preventative maintenance? 

Preventative maintenance is a routine service for your heating system to ensure it operates safely and effectively. As part of the process, we will visually inspect your equipment for any leaks and corrosion along with thoroughly cleaning all the components of your system, allowing it to perform as efficiently as possible. Some parts, such as the fuel filter and burner nozzle, will also be replaced during this service.

The MA Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is planning to implement a Clean Heat Standard (CHS) regulation that would financially penalize and disincentivize the use of propane statewide. In turn, they are looking to promote electricity as the primary source of heating in your home, which could be costly to consumers in a series of ways. As a Massachusetts resident, it is important to make your voice heard and tell your elected representatives that propane should be supported in the CHS, not penalized.

The MA Clean Heat Standard is a climate policy from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) to help reduce emissions from residential, commercial, and industrial heating. It will heavily penalize propane and heating oil companies without taking into account the benefits of Bioheat or Propane as clean energy sources.
